Hayata’s Biography
I am a landscape photographer and my style aims to evoke a dreamlike feeling with dominant colors and fine details. I am influenced by the Hudson River School’s vast landscapes and Tonalism's moody colors, as well as Pictorialism and the Photo Secession movement, which view photography as an art form.
I have been a serious landscape photographer since 2016. Living in California, I drew inspiration from local art galleries and iconic locations like Yosemite and Death Valley. In 2021, I moved to New Jersey, where I now focus on capturing its landscapes. I am involved with arts organizations such as the Viewpoint Photographic Art Center in Sacramento, the Art Society of Monmouth County, and Monmouth Arts in Red Bank, New Jersey.
I have received awards and recognitions, including First Place in the Landscape Category at the 2020 KVIE Art Auction for "Coastal Milky Way. This was broadcast on KVIE PBS TV which has a market of 1.5 million households.
